Samuel Hatmaker creates art with LEGO pieces, most of which have been used by at least one child. Parts come from his own collection that started more than 40 years ago, from yard sales, donations, and bags found in the trash. (Why would anyone throw these away?) Individual parts are never modified, painted, or altered in any way. They may have bite marks, scratches, or discoloration from time. Every piece of art is unique and truly one of a kind.
All artworks are fragile and not glued or sealed in any way. They are held together with what LEGO calls CLUTCH POWER and maintain their ability to be deconstructed.

If you have old LEGO pieces that you would like to donate, please contact me. Your childhood toys could become a work of art! (I’ll pay for S&H.)
